Classic Car History Show

The Classic Car History Show is Saturday from 10:30am to 3pm at the Shangri-La RV Resort, 10498 N. Frontage Road.

On the 25th of November, 2023 Shangri-La RV RESORT located on the North Frontage Road off from I-8 and Fortuna will host along with the Foothills Cruisers a one-of-a-kind car show looking back ONE HUNDRED years ago with the introduc􀆟on of the Chrysler Six. Yes, in the fall of 1923 Walter P. Chrysler instructed his engineers to put together six concept cars of which one would be selected to enter the New York City Interna􀆟onal Car Show during the first week of January, 1924.
Although Automobile History acknowledges that Maxwell Motor Company became the Chrysler Corpora􀆟on on the 6th of June, 1925…and no doubt there will be a large recogni􀆟on of this Anniversary, but the fact remains that what happened ONE HUNDRED years ago this fall had a huge impact within the Automobile Industry.
Plan to atend this event and learn first hand how this unique car moved Chrysler into the number TWO industry leader in the remainder of the Twen􀆟es, Thir􀆟es and early 1940’s.
Registra􀆟on will be limited to the first Fi􀅌y Cars because of space limita􀆟ons. Lunch will be provided along with raffle 􀆟ckets for donor prizes…and coffee along with donuts at 10 A.M. Come and enjoy this history…but also see the 2024 New Car Vehicles offered from your local Chrysler Dealer.

SPECIAL NOTATION…please recognize that this event captures what happened ONE HUNDRED years ago with the Chrysler Six and the next Two Years that includes the introduc􀆟on of the Chrysler Four and the Chrysler Corpora􀆟on on the 5th and 6th of June, 1925.
